Happy Valentine’s Day!

Feb142012

Happy Valentine’s Day to Argh Nation. Have some of that violently-colored Valentine’s candy for me since I can’t. (Love those cinnamon hearts.) And here’s something interesting: Mollie just discovered that the Welcome to Temptation and Bet Me e-books are currently bundled for one low price of $6.99, which makes them about $3.50 each which the very-long-runnng poll to the right says is a reasonable price for an e-book.

Crusie on the cheap, available at Barnes & Noble, Kobo, iTunes, Android Market, the Sony eBookstore, and Amazon.

It is a great bargin since Bet Me alone is $7.99 and Welcome to Temptation is $9.99. There is also another bundle of “Getting Rid of Bradley, Strange Bedpersons, What the Lady Wants and Charlie All Night” at B&N for $9.91 making them about $2.50 each. All the prices I’m mentioning are from B&N.

Thanks for mentioning this. They have this bundle available on Amazon, too. Four books for $8.61.

I have noticed that Amazon does tend to be a smidge cheaper at times. I’m guessing to edge out competition?

I saw this bundle a while ago and found the price so reasonable that I bought it. So I now own the hard copies and the e-copies. Not just for any author will I purchase both formats.

This is good information, thank you. I am trying to convert all my books to ebooks so that I can bundle up the paper copies and put them in storage. I cannot handle sending any more books away never to be seen by me again (donating to libraries).

Wow. Happy Valentine’s Day to all the Crusie fans! (And to you, too. Hope the loving couple you live with isn’t snogging too unmercifully…)

Yes, and my Kindle will play music so I can have a soundtrack. I love the bundles.

I was so excited when I saw this! I have been putting off buying these for my Nook because I have them in hard covers. But the price was amazing so I did it! These two were two of the ones I read a lot! Now I have them where ever I go!

Great! I bought the first bundle and love having both e-books and print. Must get this bundle. Much better Valentine’s gift to myself than chocolates or wine.

Definitely worth doing – certainly easier to lend than my hardcovers. Or for reading when I don’t feel like getting out of bed to wander into the living room. Yep, there are days when I am just that lazy.

I am, amazingly, resisting the urge to purchase Twilight for just $2.99 at the same time. Because I have SO much willpower? Yeah, that’s it.

Just bought this and the other bundle. Happy to have you on my laptop. Wait, that sounds like you’re sitting on my laptop. Happy to have your books on my laptop.

Will have to check that out since I own all of your paperbacks books. Bet Me was the first book of yours that I read. I loved it!!!! Actually I love all of your books. Hope you had a sugar free Valentine’s day.

I bought these a few weeks ago when Dear Author pointed out the sale. I’m pretty much e-book only now since I got my Kindle and I love having all my Crusies all in one place.

I was also happy because all but one of my paperback copies were bought used but now, finally, with the ebooks, Jenny is getting royalties from my purchase! Yay! :)

Woohoo! Two of my favorites. Min and Sophie, amazing neurotic women who you just wish you knew in real life. I actually just finished re-reading Bet Me for the thousandth time and I am going to do a review of it on my blog tomorrow, so perfect timing!

Just for your information (as I know authors have little control over this) I can’t find either Welcome to Temptation or Bet Me (either separately or bundled) on Kindle in Amazon UK. And UK residents aren’t allowed to buy ebooks from Amazon US…

I’m sorry. I don’t really have any control over that; my American publisher can’t publish in Britain. I’ll ask again, but it’s a territorial copyright thing.

Yes–my credit card is warming up in preparation. Thanks for letting us know about this. I have a hard time justifying $7.99 if I already own the book, but I will spend $3.50.

All your books are on my keepers shelf. (Hanging out for the fairytale collaboration)
This is a great introduction for readers who haven’t dipped their toes into the lake of Jennifer Crusie’s style and characters. I’ll post it on twitter and facebook :-)

Regretfully, nothing of yours in the last few years is available for Kindle on Amazon.co.uk. And because Amazon can tell my IP address is English, it won’t let me smuggle/ buy from Amazon.com (US). Some of your books are available in the German language from UK Amazon. All depends on publishing rights or something. Does anyone know who I should complain and whine to … bitterly? Not you Jenny, I know, you’re the artist as it were. Well, it were, not as it were!
