GGW It’s already gone back for a second printing. Tears in my eyes! Yay! I got lucky and read an arc and it so deserves great sales, great ratings and to be on all the best lists.
Go Lucy / Lani.

I picked up my copy today at B&N. Thank goodness I’d called ahead and put it on hold. They had one left. The cover alone would have been enough to make me stop and pick up the book, even if I hadn’t known the author. I’m so glad I didn’t do Kindle for this one. : )

My nook pre-order was waiting for me this morning. Now, if only my day job wasn’t in the way of my reading addiction.

I pre-ordered from Amazon ahead of time (our remaining semi-real “indie” bookstores suck at new releases) and it’s still not coming till next Friday. WAH. Isn’t that the point of a pre-order to avoid this?
Oh well, at least I’ll get it sometime.

(-: Amazon is in the process of sending me mine, too, and I might get it around Friday, as well. Tell me, what snacks would go very well with A Little Night Music? LOL! I don’t think I can eat waffles and read at the same time . . . . Maybe a nice, simple beverage would go better.

Mine is in the post from Amazon, but it has to come at least 3,000 miles, so I may have it for the weekend, if they’ve put it on the slow boat

I ordered mine through the “special outside order” option at the Science Fiction Book Club, and it came a week before the official release date. *beams* And I love the cover too. Magical, fun, and absolutely perfect for the book.

I hadn’t thought of this as another drawback of e-books — not only can you not get an author signature, you can’t really get a “first edition.” Still, can’t beat it for convenience; my copy is downloading as I type. Will probably gobble it up today and come up with a question by tomorrow.

I was too late for the interview collection before the comments were closed, so I’ll try to sneak my question in this way… Since I feel I’m one of the last authors/readers who don’t feel attracted by the supernatural in romance novels, I’d like to know what the difference is between writing a “normal” story and one which has elements of the supernatural. And, do you write it because it’s a trend or for other reasons (I know we already discussed the conflict situation someplace)?
