Funny or Die: Consumer Protection Agency

Mar32010

I love Funny or Die when they get political:

Not as funny as Prop 8: The Musical, but worth it just to see Chevy Chase falling over stuff again as Gerald Ford.

Wholly crab cakes batman! That’s got to be the funniest musical I’ve seen in a while. The Obama thing was good too, but I’m partial to musicals. So now I’ve gotten my morning laugh I’m ready to think about plotting. I’ve discovered that I can write a mystery right off the top of my head, but try to write anything else and all of a sudden I need to know where I’m going.

Weird.

Yeah, Chevy Chase was great, and Dana Carvey, but Jim Carrey as Reagan was just a little weird. He was just so spot on!

Oh wow. Nice.
I agree with you that the Proposition 8 video was funnier.

I thought they were all great and really in character. Laughed my head off over Clinton, even the way he relaxed on the bed while others stood, or fell over if they were Ford. Good stuff.

Okay, this is not about Funny or Die (although thank you so much for putting this up!), but I wanted to let you know that I read Sizzle on my lunch hour and both laughed my ass off and needed an underwear change! How do you DO that?!

LOL-awesome. If only there’d been a part for Jack Black *sigh*!

The Presidents thing depressed me. (I love Will as Bush, but damn, it’s practically not something you can kid about. *LOL*) Yep, we screwed it all up, good luck to you.

But the musical! OMG! When Jack Black came out as Jesus…

Oh man I have tears in my eyes and laughter induced gut wrenching pain from the musical. There’s something so wrong (and yet so right) about Jack Black as Jesus. And I had no idea John C. Reilly could belt it out like that classic!

The presidential one was good too, but can’t compare.

Thanks for the link! I saw the Prop 8 earlier, and keep forgetting to check ForD. I love the presidential parodies. And, Carrey was really uncanny.

Eerie impersonations! And what a load of star power. (-: I’m going to have to go to wikipedia and see “what they’re doing now” . . . .
