(I mean that in a good way.) I love the covers and will probably buy them again too. I've read the book something like 5 times, and each time it seems a little darker. A number of years ago my husband went along with me on a business trip - we listened to "Presumed Innocent" - an abridged 4 hour version in the car. When we got home he raced to the video store (it was a looong time ago) and rented the movie. Within 30 minutes of finishing the audiobook we watched the movie. When it was over he said "the movie was good but they left out so much that was in the book" - I wonder how it compared to the real turn-those-pages book. I had to comment about “what they’re leaving out” in marly’s post. It is more about finding happiness and your true self. Which is pretty bubblegum stuff. Or maybe I am just to easily distracted by fancy lingerie and up-against-the-wall sex. I like the covers. They make me want to buy the books all over again just to get the happy pictures instead of my battered used copies. TML and CFY are not listed on your unabridged titles list. You can purchase and rent the abridged (6 hr) versions. It's the same everywhere I've looked. Since I'm already familiar with the books, the abridged versions make me nuts. What are they leaving out? Then I have to go check the printed book. I finally gave up and am just waiting for the complete books in audio. I'm with Carol Ann below - I'd never get on the treadmill with audio books.
