So here’s the deal which I am bringing to Argh People because I Think Of You First. Lani’s been working with the NaNo people to offer a writing/revising workshop for after the NaNo experience in November (I think it’s in November. Dates: not my thing). The workshop is still in its beta stage as she sets it up so she’s offering a one-time half-off deal if you’ll beta test. Here, I’ll just let her say it:
The reason it’s super-secret is that it’s a full session, with full benefits, but it’s also a beta test. I’m going to be doing live audio classes on the net with streaming and chat where students can ask questions I’ll answer right there. I’m going to be offering audio downloads of skill-set modules (like dialogue, motivation, scene structure, etc,) and setting up a private discussion section on the forums. All of this should work without a hitch, but if there are hitches, then you can let me know and I can fix them. For that, I’m offering these two classes to you at a serious discount.

This sounds great. I do love Lani’s website Story Wonk, very smart. I’m tempted, but will have to weigh the pros and cons and dollars and cents.

Definitely sounds interesting.
I love it when people support NaNoWriMo. I love participating, and it makes me sad when I read about published authors brushing it off. So I think it’s awesome that Lani is providing this workshop post-NaNo.

The classes have a size limit, so when they’re filled, it’s over. I think they’re filling up fast from something Lani said earlier today, but I don’t have any details.

I’ve gotten a bunch of requests tonight, and if we’re not full, we’re darn close. So if you’re thinking about it, get your request in now and if I can’t get you in, I can get you on a waiting list in case someone drops out. I will be offering Revision again in January, and Discovery again this time next year for the pre-Nano crowd. If you’re interested, keep an eye on Storywonk.com and I’ll be making updates then.
