And it’s off . . .

Mar42009

Wild Ride has been sent to our editor. I’d do the Snoopy dance but I’m too tired.
Tomorrow: Always Kiss Me Goodnight. And the Pig.

YAY! More pig! More pig! More pig! Just because I want to see how you pull it off. My Grandmother taught me how to turn a Clorox bottle into a pig but that was 40 years ago.

Is it too soon to press the two of you to write another book together?

Yes! One step closer!

Don’t suppose you could feed us a little bit more WR to celebrate? In lieu of champagne, maybe? Leaving us with Ethan laying their unconscious, that’s cold. We might fall into a decline. :)

Also, from the looks of the pig, Clorox might be just the ticket. You could always put a label around it saying “Pepto-Bismol”.

Oh yay! Snoopy dancing here too! And all the dogs with me! (Hey, beagles don’t have the corner on doggy dancing you know! We got Pom-pom polka, St Bernard boogie, Chihuahua cha-cha–we got it going on!! LOL!)

I myself am seriously looking forward to AKMG–totally sounds like my kind of book. If you need a beta reader, I’m your gal! *wink*

More pig? I thought it was more cowbell…
Anyway, I’m chair-snoopy-dancing and banging my cowbell. Now, if we could just hurry up New York…

Wistful thought… it would be great if The Pig found its way into AKMG. Hey, Terry Pratchett had The Luggage feature in several of his books ;)

You could also do the “smarty pants dance” as is shown here:

although I can’t make up my mind whether it shows a really bright little girl or rather the human equivalent of a trained seal.

Congrats to you and Bob.

I hope you’ll blog about your experiences writing AKMG (the writing, the brainstorming, the collage, etc.). It’s all so fascinating and exciting to see a slice of the writing process.

I just finished rereading Agnes and the Hitman for the nth time. All this hanging out around Argh, plus reading D&G, just makes me hunger for more.

Congratulations. When you rest up, would love to see the pig and the doggies – including Gus.

I’m listening to Agnes. Lots of fun, but I have to be extra careful to hear the internal dialog, which is hushed – and hilarious.

Good luck with all projects, and I hope Spring is lovely in your corner of the world. Snowdrops blooming at church this morning…
