I discovered your work last year with AGNES AND THE HITMAN, wow, amazing fun, and have sent you on to my kid and her crowd of voracious readers. You now have your own shelf in my bedroom bookcase, precious space indeed, and I reread your books, and they only get better!! I find I read them 3-4 times before I can take it all in..fabulous plotting and pure fun. Thank you, thank you..

No matter how much we love you and Krissie and Lani, we wouldn't continue buying book after book, plus copies for all our friends and relatives, if we didn't love the stories. You earned that NYT spot with your magical words. Thank you!

Oh this does sound like it will be a Fun Book! I love fairy tales.

You may know of these already (or may not want to look at), but some recent fairy tale novels that I really like are The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey and the following books by Robin McKinley: Beauty, Rose Daughter (retellings of Beauty and the Beast), Spindle's End (retelling of Sleeping Beauty, now with a hideous cover), and Deerskin, which is quite a bit darker than the others. Oh, and also, Brokedown Palace by Steven Brust.

I finished the book last night and loved it. I also loved the feeling of the cover as well as the significance of the artwork.

My husband asked if I could tell who wrote which parts without the symbols. I thought I could but I'm glad not testing was involved.

I get the NY Times on Sunday but they didn't show the books after number 15 - how rude.

D&G was fantastic--lots of fun and exactly what I needed during bleak February! I've got copies on the way to my sister and my best friend. I love the idea of more solo books from you Jenny but have enjoyed all your collaborations, too.

Micki's random thought:

> there’s no goddess or protective saint of mothers/parents of teenagers?

Try St Jude, the patron saint of lost causes and hopeless cases. Now there's a saint I can relate to!

29th on NYT list! Congratulations! I bought mine and talked the sales woman into buying herself one too...she'd been eyeing it in the store.
I'm saving my copy...It's sitting on my nightstand tempting me like chocolate! But I'm not giving in yet...just savoring the anticipation. Thanks so much for writing! You really make life so much more fun!

I read the book AGAIN, after returning from the Whack - SO much fun. Thanks for signing so much stuff for us. Although I wish I had remembered to get an audiobook for my aunt, who likes to listen while knitting. Since you had the Sharpies, you totally could have signed that, too!

Good luck finishing Wild Ride! I hope that you're not as tired as we are, but since you were working so much harder...

I have my signed copy sitting at the top of my TBR pile, now that I am back from the Dayton Whack invasion. Hope we didn't traumatize anybody. It was great meeting you three. We'll be back to help kick off Wild Ride.

Loved the book. It must have been so fun to write.

I'm looking for the RSS feed for your blog and I can't find it. Finally getting my google reader set up. Where is it?

Thanks.
