Dec82008

Actually, the headline says it all, but you can go here to read the review. And get your last look at the old blog before the new revamped one goes up to promote the book’s release. Yeah, change is everywhere.

Yay! I can’t wait — and February is such a long month, this will be like a reward for getting through it. :)

Curious to see the changes.

Many many congratulations.

And what is not to love about talking dogs? Does that reviewer not OWN a dog?

Hooray!
A starred review is an automatic but for lots of libraries you know.
Can’t wait for Feb.

Woohoo and congratulations. As a Crusie-Stuart fangirl and a dog lover, this book is tailor made for me.

Jenny, I have to ask. Does it surprise you that, out of all the books you’ve written, they picked Charlie All Night as the parenthetical reference? I enjoyed Charlie, but it isn’t the first title I think of when I tell someone about you and your work.

Diane, “automatic but” has a certain ring to it…

Congrats!! I’m looking forward to reading the book.

Jenny, have you seen the art work by Anne-Julie Aubry? It reminds me a bit of WR. Just wanted to pass along the website. I just found her a little while ago.

Mary, I have NO idea why they went with Charlie All Night. I’d have said Agnes and the Hitman, but I’m not arguing with a starred review.

That art has a fun vibe to it, Lori. Like a cleaned up version of the Lenore the Little Dead Girl. Which is the only thing I’ve ever liked that grossed Krissie out.
