A Musical Interlude

I still want to talk about turning points, but I also enjoy a good musical.
Really. It’s better than Cats:

So great! I love Allison Janney. And was that Margaret Cho?

I saw Maya Rudolph, and of course, Dr. Horrible.

That was Margaret Cho.
And some really good voices. I think it has a shot at Broadway.
My fave moment is the expression Allison Janney’s face when Dr. Horrible says she’s a lesbian. Although Jack Black as Jesus is excellent, too, of course.

Your timing is eerie. I just finished Mercedes Lackey’s Black Swan, and am listening to the Mikado right now as I type, and sure enough, I turn to see if you have new posts, and your last one is called Three Black Swans, and this one is musical.
A different one, but still.
I’m just in the mood for this! Thank you. Now I need to go back and read the posts I missed. Backlog -yay!

Oh-oh-oh! I just loved what Marc Shaiman did with Hairspray (that was him, right?). I can’t wait to get to a non-work environment and see this!
(V. fond of Jack Black, too.)

I really enjoyed that! Now I just need to wrack my brains for all of the other people who would like to see it.

I have always been a supporter of gay marriage and cannot wait to show my straight laced mother this one!

YES! I sent the link to everyone I could think of — you know, enlighten some and share the moment with others. Thank you, Jennie!

Keith Olbermann ran the whole thing tonight (Thurs) on his show, and he’s going to have Jack Black and Marc Shaiman on tomorrow night.
