When my first was born, I cut the cord for her. No way could I have waited weeks and weeks to see her, or to take care of DD. Didn't notice anyone mentioning Callie's dad, but he's got some buttons to pop, too. Way to go, Callie's dad. She's a cutie, for sure. While we're telling her how lovely she is, we need to keep reminding her also of how smart and kind and creative and beloved she is. Tell her that all the time. All the time. Write to her. The sooner they all know it can be done safely, the better. I know you'll be a great grandmother - have fun spoiling little Callie - it's your job.
