My god. I’m going to stop blogging completely, the comments are so much better than anything I could write. Especially the drivel I wrote during the storm and then just posted.

I did forget to mention that Bob and Milton have bonded, at least a little. Bob no longer looks at him like, “Come back when you’re bigger.” He’s not going to get bigger. Milton, that is. Well, Bob’s full grown, too. Neither, however, is mature.

So with all the discussion of LOLcats & LOLdogs, the question that comes to mind is: Does Bob have any pets?

My current new fav is potato/corn chowder with red peppers in it (some people add cheese and bacon bits). But crab cakes are The Very Best food. And since I’ve been reading “Agnes & the Hitman” –very sexy and lots of plot twists–I’m into sour cream, pecan pancakes!!

My husband never makes anything too gross, but he’s really into pouring whatever he makes over toast. I don’t get the appeal. I’ve pretty much stopped asking him for dinner ideas because I always know his answer will end with “and pour it over toast.”

As odd as we think men’s eating habits are, most of them don’t get the mixing sweet and salty thing that so many women like. My addiction is to Doritos, jalapeno cheese dip and chocolate milk. Hubby just shakes his head and looks away. He especially doesn’t get that the cat likes to share it with me.

From my husband’s bachelor days: bowl of cold Spaghetti-Os with a generous dollop of cottage cheese on top. Bleatch! He still eats it now and then, and I have to leave the room!

Ooh, I smell a cookbook. We can title it “Warning; Recipes Not Fit for Human Consumption” with a sub title of “And your dog will sniff politely and walk away”

I will add my hubby’s “Brown ground beef, DO NOT DRAIN FAT, add can of Dark Kidney Beans, DO NOT DRAIN JUICE, serve over toast.

My kid will contribute her famous “Bacon Bits Drenched in Balsamic Vinegar Soup”

It’s quite the palate pleaser.

I haven’t seen the finale (I could only watch so much tv on the computer while I was on vacation and I used it to watch Supernatural) but I am totally spoiled. I’ve always found that character to be not loveable and endearing but rather cold and lacking Brennan’s sense of justice and compassion. And quite possibly some of the events of last season/early this season bent the needle on that particular moral compass.

I do think the writer’s strike messed up what could have been a great season but since I agreed with the writers I shouldn’t complain too much.

I was never one for sugar and butter on bread but if you mix raspberry jam and butter in copious quantities and then spread it on soft, chewy white bread you could be in heaven.

Although I like your scenarios better.

Maybe after putting the couch together they discovered that extra screw and they are fighting to either put it away or insisting and finding where it goes.

They’ve called Cousin Russ to get his expert opinion. They’re trying to make a nutritious entree out of Dr Pepper, Ramen, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Water, and Peanut M&M’s. Bob thinks there might be a cook book in it. Jenny is too tired to argue. Milton is waiting for the food to start flying. The couch has gone up in flames. Veronica is waiting for Mr DeMill to do her close up. Everyone else is hiding in the meadow grass.
