It must be strange to travel alone after the “Year of Bob.” Why does that sound suspiciously like a Chinese Horoscope? Or is that horror scope? He he. Sorry Bob, but you ditched our gal and she’s sad and tired and hungry and she hates travelling and she misses you. So get in the kayak and get your butt down to Miami, be a hero, save our Jenny. You can do it, your an ex-Green Beret.

Seriously, I don’t know how you multi-pubbed authors manage your lives. How you successfully schedule everything is amazing. I know I’ve said it before, but I appreciate everything you do. Every story you write, every lesson you give, every question you answer, and especially every word of your special brand of humor that makes me laugh out loud.

And this weeks Tarot cards from my channeling psychic guide say: First place card is Temperance: slow down and trust the process. Balance in planning and care of self.
Second is The Lovers: this card challenges us to open the heart. Oh God. I’m laughing so hard I can’t breathe. Thank you, Jenny. This explains so much outrageous behaviour. Mine, not yours. It’s an outlet for frustrated distraction from real writing. You start lying to people, I write blog comments. Makes perfect sense, but then I’m a little warped.

But I had such a GREAT day writing today that I haven’t written one ridiculous thing on anyone’s blog other than my own. Well, until now.

Once you get home, fake selective amnesia: you have no idea that ringing noise means someone wants to talk to you and your email password seems to have disappeared from consciousness. It works amazingly well. Oh, and learn to say NO.

Write something wonderfully fictitious tomorrow.

Traveling is lovely, but there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed with your own things around you. However, for me it is easier to write AWAY from all things comfortable because then I can just concentrate on the story, not on the fact that the kitchen is a mess and I really should vacuum the dog hair off the carpets and good lord! Did you see the SIZE of that dust bunny/hairball under the edge of the cupboards in the kitchen?! So big I could practically name it….

I actually like to sit in airports. Great place to catch up on your reading, or, in your case, blogging. And how many people knew it was you? Ah, the anonymity of it all.

But I am glad you are heading home. Zelda and the rest are waiting and they won’t get written with you jetsetting all over the country! *grumble, grumble* So glad your addiction is writing fiction–it feeds MY addiction, which is READINg the fiction you write! *grin* I need a fix–soon!!

You could write a Chloe book. I’m rereading Fast Women, and I find myself wondering what happened to Chloe as she made her way round Europe. Did she find the love of her life?

Thanks so much for coming to Ft. Lauderdale for LitLive. I just wish that we could have had more time with you, Linda Francis Lee and Yasmin Shiraz. I hope you made it to the airport in time and without trauma.

I do think that the name of your panel should have been changed. I totally agreed with your comment that the “guilty” should be dropped from “guilty pleasures.” I’ve been reading romance, mystery, science fiction and thrillers for years and I think that any book that gives a reader pleasure is a “good” book. If the point of writing is to convey a thought or emotion, why does it have to be depressing to be considered worthwhile and not a “guilty pleasure.” I don’t want to feel worse after reading a book than before I’ve started.

Thanks for writing books that show women came overcome obstacles and be snarky at the same time. I always feel better after reading or re reading your books. Please keep them coming.
